Firstly, I would like to thank the amazing team at De Broglio, from the very first phone call until my last day in court, you have been absolutely incredible every step of the way! The genuine empathy, encouragement and support beyond what is professionally required must be commended.
The day of my accident I heard these earth shattering words: you will never be able to live a normal life again. Forget all your dreams, hopes and aspirations because from this day you will live in pain and misery for the rest of your life. At that moment I struggled to make sense of it all, until a friend of mine reminded me of the De Broglio TV Advert saying: If it wasn't your fault...it shouldn't be your problem.
A very suitable line indeed. Whilst lying in my hospital bed thoughts rushed through my mind: how on earth will I ever be able to live a normal life again...how would I be able to play sport again...enjoy my children fully...how will I pay for all the rehab and continual treatment required, medication needed and even future surgery?
De Broglio put all those fears to rest with their clear and thorough communication. At no point did I feel insecure in their ability to win my case...and my goodness did they deliver! Every specialist appointment was carefully and extremely well planned taking every single detail into account.
Where my socks were really blown off was at my second court appearance. The RAF made a really small offer in my case and the team of experts from De Broglio made it crystal clear to me: this is ridiculous...your case is worth more than that. Trusting in their expertise was certainly NOT in vain!!! Even though my case was postponed again, when we returned for the third time I was ready for another postponement...fortunately the RAF saw the light and they made us an offer that completely blew our socks off! It felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders after a long 4.5 year wait!
Thank you will never fully describe the immense gratitude I have towards Dune and her entire De Broglio team!
Thanks for getting our lives BACK to NORMAL again!
